Happy birthday to my mother, Pattie, who is 54 today. (Not 44 as I accidentally typed into one of her e-cards, which would then actually make me 21, not 31 and that would then mean I technically had Clare when I was 16 or something like that.....but I am digressing....)

So Mum, I hope your day is special and filled with lots of happiness and cheer, luck and love, to extend into the upcoming years.

And I hope you enjoy what is left of your cheesecake I made for you!

I am thankful to be married to a lovely husband who is a darn good police officer; I am mother to quite an eccentric ~and cute~ nine year old along with two hyper jack russells; I own quite an extensive library of books and records; collect teapots and nautical items.
