weeble wobbles don't fall down, apparently

It has been MORE than a little insane around here. Yes, we moved again and we certainly got everything unpacked and in it's own place. Well as much as we possibly can moving into a smaller townhouse. At least we can afford the tuition for Clare's school now since they were not willing to budge and let us apply for financial aid late since we moved after their "timetable".

So Clare is loving school and her new teacher especially, who has lots of teaching experience and is great with the kiddies. AND she has red hair which is always a plus in my book, of course. I began work and it has been a zoo~ but at least Greg is car-minding for someone here in town who is on sabbatical in Chicago till June. So he is the temporary owner of a 1983 BMW. It is, well, interesting. Hey it cuts out me having to drop him to work and collect him amidst the day to day chaos.

Tomorrow Clare begins her Irish Step Dancing Classes. Well sure she has to follow in the footsteps of her mother, did you think she wouldn't? She is already hyped up about being dressed in 18th century clothing and occasionally coming into the museum. She truly is my "Mini-Me".

Today I raced from work at 2pm to the University Cancer Centre whereupon I stayed (and stayed) for four hours. But it was a good visit and they retreived all the blood they needed and were able to call my favourite doctors in Colorado for more information. We are needing to keep a close eye on the ever diminishing bone marrow situation. So pretty soon I will be scheduled in to have some more marrow taken out for, yep you guessed it, more research. Better safe than sorry, of course. I don't mind; I have been through it before and if it gives them a better idea of what is going on then I am more than happy to oblige.

The other day at work some visitors were going inside the house and this particular couple was walking in. Well the wife almost lost it walking up the step (too much wine tasting at local vineyards perhaps??) and grabbed hold of the doorway and her husband announced to all of us, "Yes Folks, she IS part Weeble".

How can you top that comment?!
