the sickness lingers

23 February 2005
The Sickness, as it has now been dubbed, has made an ugly re-appearance in this house. Of course I have never been able to get rid of even a tiny bit of it since it arrived over three weeks ago. Clare had it, it disappeared for her, and then re-emerged last Thursday. By Monday, she was at the doctor's office. I was lucky enough to get a nasty sore throat from being around the sick children there. Luckily my Oncologist called in some more meds for me anyhow, so that took care of that. Just waiting to see if it clears up The Sickness, now. Greg still has bits and pieces of The Sickness, but he has been able to spread it all around the Police Academy this week while staying there.

Not much else has happened, really, there is some good news lingering on the horizon, but one must be patient in terms of that. Everything else is fairly the same.

Snow is supposed to be arriving sometime around 3am tomorrow morning. Not looking forward to that, I have no patience left for cold, snow, ice and temps below 50F!

Since Clare is home from school today we are just trying to get well. She seems a bit better, but the bouts of extreme coughing are worrisome. Maybe the Zithromax will begin to take some sort of magical effect on the two of us and we will suddenly be reunited with the happy land of healthiness soon.
